FEB. 17, 2022 – CELEBRATION OF THE INCOMING POSTGRADUATE CLASS OF ’23 – SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS PRESENTATION
Over the years in pre-covid times, H4S founder George Shields would bring a quartet to the Masters SLP Program Celebration and Awards event and sing them a song. Well it wasn’t long before the class would sing a song right back at George! This year the meeting was virtual, and after a brief speech of welcome from H4S Trustee David Smith, he gave them a masked COVID performance from his own Chorus, TNL. We sang “Let It Snow” – perfect timing as a big storm was forecast for that evening. Sure enough, the students came right back with their own song – a fun parody about learning in a pandemic and a love-in with their faculty.
