Dear Harmonize for Speech,
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your generous bursary. As a student from a low-income background, this support helps ease the financial demands of my education and allows me to access additional resources that will support my learning and development.
This bursary has a meaningful impact on my academic journey by reducing financial pressure and allowing me to focus on my studies and clinical preparation. It gives me the time and stability to stay engaged in my learning and make the most of this stage of my education.
I am drawn to Speech-Language Pathology because communication is essential to how we connect and participate in the world. As a future bilingual clinician in French and English, I hope to support individuals from diverse communities by assessing needs, developing individualized approaches, and working closely with families and interdisciplinary teams. This support allows me to focus on building the skills needed for this role.
