The Toronto Challenge is a run/walk event that allows participants to raise money for their specific charity, including the Harmonize For Speech Fund.

Most of you are aware of who we are, our Chairman George Shields and the Ontario Barbershop Singers, and our support of SLP students, and of children, teens and adults benefiting from the incredible work of the Speech and Stuttering Institute, Aphasia Centres and many other speech language programs and projects which we have supported for many years.

George Shields and many other Barbershop Singers will be participating, http://www.toronto.ca/challenge (June 10 at 9:30 am at Nathan Phillips Square, 8:45 am warm up).

We would like to challenge you to register, raise funds, and walk/run on behalf of the Harmonize For Speech Fund, or perhaps just support George in his efforts at the following:
http://harmonize4speech.org/donate-now or by sending a cheque payable to Harmonize For Speech to our Harmony Hall address.

Registration is open until June 2; donations can be made at any time. (In the foort of true transparency, we actually make the donations contingent on George not actually walking/running the 5km, because we need to keep him around, and if the donations are not big enough, he threatens to run it.)

Thank you for considering this challenge. Harmonize For Speech and the Ontario Barbershop Harmony community is looking forward to raising our next $5 million (at an administration cost of only 3%), to help children, seniors and families with their language and communication challenges.
